On Thursday, 5 February 2026, Qlector will host Qlector Production Planning Day 2026, our third expert event dedicated to one topic that increasingly defines manufacturing performance: production planning.
The event is aimed at both existing and potential users who are interested in advanced approaches to production planning in complex and dynamic environments.
A practical look at planning in the real world
This year’s agenda is strongly practice-oriented. Through real use cases and concrete examples, we will explore:
- where the biggest gaps between plans and reality occur,
- why a solid data infrastructure is critical for reliable planning,
- and how advanced AI-based tools support planners in day-to-day decision-making.
Together with Prof. Dr. Marko Bajec (University of Ljubljana), we will also look ahead toward Industry 4.0 and the growing impact of generative AI on manufacturing systems.
Learning from practitioners and LEAP users
In addition to Qlector experts, the event will feature best practice sessions from manufacturing companies, including:
- insights into digital transformation and AI-driven planning,
- lessons learned from real implementations,
- and open discussion with LEAP users about optimisation, constraints, and planning trade-offs.
The day will conclude with a Q&A session, LEAP Community Awards, and time for networking and informal exchange with peers facing similar planning challenges.
